Solana error: Compute budget exceeded (ProgramFailedToComplete)
The transaction ran out of compute units before it finished, so the program was aborted mid-way.
Why it happens
- Every transaction has a compute ceiling. Complex routes - many hops, many accounts, big token lists - can exceed the default.
- A program looped longer than expected because of unusual pool state.
- The priority fee was raised but the compute limit was left at the default.
How to fix it
- Raise the compute unit limit in the interface (advanced settings) and retry.
- Split a large multi-hop swap into two smaller swaps.
- Use a simpler route or a different aggregator for that pair.
