Solana error: Malformed or unsupported transaction (SanitizeFailure)
The transaction could not be parsed by the node - it is structurally invalid or uses a version the endpoint does not support.
Why it happens
- A custom script built the message with the wrong account ordering or a bad instruction layout.
- The transaction is a versioned transaction being fetched without version support enabled.
- A wallet produced bytes for a different runtime.
How to fix it
- Rebuild the transaction with an up-to-date SDK.
- When reading versioned transactions, request maxSupportedTransactionVersion.
- Use the official interface for that program instead of a hand-rolled script.
