The signature on the transaction did not match the message. The wallet signed different bytes than what was submitted.
Why it happens
- The transaction was modified after signing - some wallets add a priority fee after the fact.
- You are submitting a transaction built for a different cluster (devnet versus mainnet).
- A hardware wallet signed an older version of the message.
How to fix it
- Sign again from the same wallet without editing fees in another tab.
- Check the network selector - devnet transactions never work on mainnet.
- Reconnect the hardware wallet and rebuild the transaction.
